Ille Tăhti (Chuvash: Илле Тăхти) (September 4, 1889, Nüškassi village, (in what is today Yantikovsky District of Chuvash Republic) - February 22, 1938, Cheboksary hospital) is Chuvash writer and folklorist. Member of USSR Union of Writers since 1934.

Biography

Ille Takhti was born on September 4, 1889 in the village of Nüškassi (in what is today Yantikovsky District of Chuvash Republic).

He have educated in Kazan pedagogic school. He works as a teacher in Tautovo beginning school (Alikovsky District).

Writer died on February 22, 1938 in Cheboksary hospital.

Famous works

Author creates both in prose, both in poetry. His works are publishing in magazines «Тăван Атăл» (Own Atăl), «Ялав» (Banner), newspapers.
